Theo joins the Infernus trip, partially to test out a theory that Nine and Shaka have, partially to try and remove the mystery and secrets surrounding the Last Cafe, and partially to make sure Manager 5 doesn’t do something catastrophically stupid. Again.

[BRANCH] THE LAST CAFE

[SECURITY] CAFE

I would very much like to join the expedition into the Infernus tomorrow. If that is alright, of course. I know how it may seem that the Last Cafe has been… well… that it has been “distant” from the other Cafes. And this is true. Originally, the Last Cafe was intended to be a secret amongst only the managers and the members of the Last Cafe. But we are trying to change that. And perhaps… perhaps if we can be more present and open, then things don’t have to end as horribly as they often have in the past. And in any case, I feel it would be nice to work with 4, 5, and 6 again.

Of course, a member of the Last Cafe tagging along might bring a certain air of suspicion as to what my “true” motives are here. And while I do appreciate transparency, I also detest baseless speculation. I will put it this way, I have a theory I would like to confirm. The theory is not mine alone, of course, but I am the best suited to test this theory out of the current members of the Last Cafe. IV and V are particularly keen on discovering the truth about this matter. For what it's worth, dark shadows may loom in the light of Infernus.

Another reason I would like to tag along is to ensure that Manager No. 5 does not do anything cosmically reprehensible while they are visiting Infernus. I am well aware that No. 5 has been to the Mammonsoleum once before without incident, but that was before he held three-eighths. And it isn’t that I don’t trust No. 5. No. I trust him. Well. As much as I need to trust him. I don’t trust Mammon. He might be encased in solid gold at the moment, but that does little to stop his influence from seeping out and corrupting those particularly influenced by the sin of avarice. And No. 5… well… he is particularly infatuated with all seven deadly sins, to say the least.
