I think 26 has a diff definition of welcoming than me. Things r ICE COLD between him & his grandpa. I mean, so far, his grandpa hasn’t said anything rude or mean, but there is some serious tension between them. I see why 3311 wanted 2 b here 4 26, tho when I said this was a one-man job… I meant him, not me. Oh well. At least 26 isn’t having 2 deal w/ this on his own. So far, hunting 4 some bait 4 Mrs. Stevens seems 2 have been keeping his mind off of things 4 the most part.
Of course, I’m not one 2 pry, & 26 isn’t one 2 open up, so I can’t say I’ve learned anything new about his past. But he has taught me a lot about hunting, camping, & survival in general. We’ve kept our contact w/ 26’s grandpa 2 a minimum, tho he did want 2 go w/ us 4 our initial Mrs. Stevens tracking. And while 26 might b a man of few words, I got a lot of info from 26’s grandpa about his wife, his son, his son’s wife, & 26.
This is probably not the place 2 put most of that info, & I’m not sure how much of it is… accurate or just accurate 2 26’s grandpa. However, one thing did stick out 2 me as weird. His grandpa said he had trouble getting in touch w/ 26 because he wasn’t sure which Cafe he was at. I thought there was only one Cafe and Diner? 26 sort of brushed this off & said smth like, “Well, u know sometimes places move around.” But then his grandpa said, “but that other one still answered me.” And then 26 shut the conversation down completely. I’m not sure if his grandpa is just confused or if 26 is… hiding smth. But how could he hide an entirely separate Cafe and Diner from us? It’s probably nothing.
