So, Redman and Robbie legged it wiv some kinda black disk stashed at the bottom of the Devil’s Den. Meanwhile, “Destiny” an' I reckon Mothman have been tryin’ to nab our little lovely Loveland. And Umbra? Pullin’ all the strings, I bet. That, or 'e's been lurkin' about unseen in the shadows, workin' out some other dodgy aim. Ah—now I that I think about it, Umbra’s probably gearin' up for ‘is new pawns to arrive. If Mothman’s right, Umbra’s still expectin’ some heaps o’ coke outta the Locker—Destiny an' Robert ain’t that, so we’ve still got a few left to meet.

Well, it could be that whatever disk Robert an' Redman lifted is some sorta “key” to gettin' the rest of their ingredients in the pot. I mean, makes sense, it was sunk down to the bottom of a subterranean river… water likes water—far as I know. But, seein' as ‘ow much of the state is waterlogged, could be just a fluke. As for why they want Loveland, I reckon they’re after some sorta translation. Maybe the disk needs a few special magic words the lot of 'em can’t quite suss out.

Anyhow, we gotta work out a way to counter Robert’s powers. Shades are a tricky bunch. Lawds below, they might be more of a nuisance than your usual Shadow Person. The nature of bein' so loosely tethered to the physical plane gives a geezer a lot of clout, as it were. Even if we could smash that little trinket to bits, 'e’d just jump to another body. We’d ‘ave to destroy the original… which, despite the common assumption that it’s the one sittin’ in the museum, if Robbie 'ad 'alf a brain, 'e’d 'ave stashed the original doll by now. And if Robbie ain’t thought of that by now, I guarantee you, Umbra 'as.
