Explanation: As written in the Zodiac Files, the Creaking is a place in the Mayda, and - given the nature of Mayda - is linked to shipwrecks.
Summary of Receipt
224 is very happy that he gets to show the CaD around his home, Mayda. Or, well, the Creaking. The other parts are either inaccessible to the living, or contain Leviathan. And Leviathan would not be happy with 224 for leaving the Mayda.

I cannot believe, I simply cannot believe, that I get to take so many of my buddies to my home in Mayda! Well, okay, well, we are not exactly going to my home. We are going to the Creaking! Yes! The Creaking! It is a very big city that is mostly on the surface of Mayda’s waves. It is full of many pretty mermaids, sirens, ningens, migases, adaros, and many other mostly nice Maydaian demons! I do say mostly nice because, well, you see, the people who live in the Creaking mostly came to Mayda from a sinking ship, which has left many of these demons a bit grumpy. Though the REALLY tough customers prefer to live in the Locker deep below the Creaking, so we should be perfectly safe! Not to mention you have ME! Yes ME! I hardly doubt anyone in the Creaking would mess with us when I’m around.
If Theodosia Langley is not in the Creaking, then we might have to venture down into the Locker or maybe even the Black Needle. The Locker would be a very scary place to have to search, and well, most of you cannot breathe water like I can, so I would have to perhaps go alone, and well, okay, you see, well, I would prefer not to. Even worse than the Locker would be if she ended up in the Black Needle, which is where Leviathan and his horrors live. AND, AND, AND, OKAY, THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE THAT I DO NOT WISH TO RUN INTO HIM, OKAY?
You see, well, you see, he does not like demons leaving his plane. And if he saw me, he would most certainly throw me into the Coral Gardens, where I would be trapped forever! We simply cannot have that, so we should try and avoid running into Leviathan at all costs. In any case, I should really stop writing this receipt and get back to navigating. We seem to be a few leagues off course at the moment. But do not fear! I can get us back on course in no time at all!
