Summary of Receipt

62 still doesn't know what 'ice' (Otherside Signature) the machine given by Hyer is supposed to track. From what he's figured out, it's from the Infernus, and there's a red light that should turn on if the OS signature is within a thousand miles of the CaD, either in the Flipside or Otherside. Still, 62 wonders why Hyer gave such a machine to 323, what 'ICE' stands for, and what sort of customer would be so dangerous as to need a specific tracker. It's not Mrs. Pleasant - she's not too far from the CaD - but 3311 did report that he saw it blinking on Friday.

CAFE AND DINER RECEIPT FROM 9/20/17
MANAGER 62
RECEIPT: ICEMACHINE002
STATUS: OPEN

Hey everyone, itsa me, 62.

So, we still don't ACTUALLY know what kind of ice the machine makes. And by ice, I mean what OS signature it's set up to track. We have figured out it's an OS Tracker, though, but not like any I've ever seen before. The tech looks like it's Infernus-based. I could (and probably will) reverse-engineer that bad boy's code and see if I can make heads or tails of it. What I do know is there is a little red light that should turn on if the OS signature is present within a good 1,000 or so miles X, Y, Z, or XOS, YOS, ZOS. So, fingers crossed, the light turns on soon. Or… maybe not. We'll see.

I wonder why Mr. Hyer gave it to 323? I mean, there are a lot of things I wonder about Mr. Hyer. He's a very strange customer, though I at least feel like he's trying to look out for us. But what could be so dangerous that we need an OS tracker for? Also, what does I-C-E stand for? Incoming Canadian entity? No, that doesn't seem right. Why would this Othertech machine use the Cafe word Canadian? The same goes for Incoming Customer Entities. Though I feel like Customer Entity is a bit of a hat on a hat, huh? In any case, I'm pretty sold on the first word being "Incoming."

Although, this does rule out that it tracks Mrs. Pleasant as she's not too far from here, definitely within 1,000 miles. So, this is meant for someone else. The strange thing is… on Friday, 3311 could've sworn he saw it blinking. Blinking some kind of message… We'll have to review the security tapes and see if the light did blink and for how long. Anyway! I'll keep you guys up-to-date with the machine and whether or not the light goes on or starts blinking again. Or if I can figure out its OS Signature Lock.
