Summary of Receipt
224’s borrowing of the glamour has led to it acting differently. Now, it only works as intended if you look like 224, and will turn you into a four-foot-tall frogman if you aren’t already one. Still, it’s an improvement anyway, and so 116, 611 and 161 will head over and pass Wentz the glamour anyway.

We weren’t really expecting Loveland to borrow the glamor. Or, sorry, No. 224. Which, by the way, if you hadn’t heard, No. 44 was able to make a glamor for Mr. Wentz. It’s a pretty nifty glamor, too, that doesn’t require too much energy to use… the only issue is it can only handle one appearance. Well, that’s not exactly how it works. It can glamor one appearance to another, but anyone who doesn’t look like the initial appearance will be glamored to match that appearance. The way No. 44 explained it, it’s like a shortcut. So once someone uses the glamor, it’s sort of “locked” to their natural appearance for anyone else. So what we have now is a glamor that makes you look like a four-foot-tall frogman unless you already look like a four-foot-tall frogman.
Hm. Well. It’s not a terrible problem to have. Plus, No. 224 is pretty dang cute. So that’s gotta be an upgrade from Mr. Wentz’s natural appearance, right? I hope so because I doubt No. 44 would be willing to make us a backup glamor. While she was able to cut some corners, I imagine it was still quite a bit of work to get this glamor working. She didn’t say precisely how expensive/taxing it was, but I got the sense it was really a holiday gift and not an everyday kind of favor. I guess if it doesn’t work out, we could always work out a return flight for Mr. Wentz. But I don’t know… then he’s just as miserable in Avalon, and we didn’t really help.
Anyways, all that’s left now is to meet up with No. 161 and No. 116 and go give Mr. Wentz some much-needed holiday cheer. While I don’t expect there to be any issues, there is the slightest risk of harm or death. So I won’t close out this tab until we know that Mr. Wentz is both happy and not a risk to any passing tourists. Here’s hoping this one is wrapped up nicely.
