Well, that was certainly a pain in the ass. No. 116 and I spent the better part of the last week warping around Grunch Road looking for the nasty pair of nards, Mrs. Morrison. Thankfully, we were able to finally find and capture them. Both of them, might I add. No. 17 is having us keep them both in the Teal Room in the East Hall of his family’s manor. I would recommend not disturbing them unless you want to get munched on. Trust me. If I wasn’t able to just warp them away, they would’ve gotten a good chunk out of me.

Now, we just need to find their original owner, the Sunkenman, and get some of his blood to smear on them to send them back to the Otherside. Easier said than done, of course. The Sunkenman is more or less just a legend… which, I know, we’re sort of in the business of urban legends and whatnot, but No. 17 isn’t entirely sure there really is a mythical benefactor and advisor to Neptune who can skip out on any bar tab. Well, that was before Neptune was actually, you know, maybe real?

I suppose the fact that the Grunch Road Monsters are real would at least indicate that they came from somewhere, if not the sack of a very sad Boogieman. Plus, they’re supposed to come around every 13 years and grow into Sunkenmen themselves, yet someone always seems to stop them and send them back before that happens. No. 17 is confident that whoever this mystery person is won’t be able to find them in the Teal Room. Why? No clue. I’m just accepting that he has a wacky old New Orleans magical mansion. I guess we’ll see how right he is, though I’m sort of hoping their mystery caretaker sends them home for us. I’ll always take an easy win.
