Yep, that was definitely a poltergeist. You can tell because like the RRBT says: “When dealing with a Poltergeist, duck.” Thankfully, Poltergeists are one of the easier ghosts to banish. They just need to be soul-anchored and then tossed back into the Achegloom. Though, it did get us thinking… Mikey is going to be going with you guys, right? And Brent, I imagine, is still going to be working with you. So, who is going to watch over his shop while he’s gone and Mikey’s out?
That’s where the Gloom Troop comes in! We need a bigger headquarters now that there are nine of us, and we could run the shop and keep it ghost-free! It’s like a win-win. We could use the constant influx of newly aching ghosts for practice, and Brent doesn’t have to leave the shop in totally unfamiliar hands. Well, I don’t believe Brent has had the pleasure of meeting the rest of our team besides Kyle and myself. But the Gloom Troop are a trustworthy lot! ...besides maybe Innis. Oh, and Gerard is… well, he’s no worse than Rico. And Janine has a slight drinking problem… which is no worse than pre-breakup-Rico.
And, you know, Kyle. I don’t… really think Kyle would want to go back to the West Coast, not after how things went down between them and Amber. So, that’d be at least one person you know and trust running things. As for me? I’m definitely going back with you guys. I love Earl Gray as much as the next guy, but I can’t pass up a cup of coffee, especially if this really will be our last. Plus, with our two new members, Kiera and Isabella, I’m positive the Gloom Troop can handle things without me for a bit. Besides, like 90% of our business is just cleaning ghosts out of Brent’s shop.
