Okay, so, first off—this might've been a bad idea. I can accept that. Lucifer's cult dosen't just play at grandeur; they are grandeur. Once you slip past the secret veil beneath the bridge, it's a whole… lot. Think like cathedral meets arena meets corporate high-rise, with enough magic to make your teeth hum. Yucky feeling. Oh, and the people? The numbers. I thought it'd be a couple of hooded weirdos chanting underneath a bridge. Not hundreds… maybe thousands? All decked out in glittery golden robes, rushing about a hidden city block. Easy enough to blend in though.

Then there's the whole "Transformational Ascension" thing. I didn't get a good look at it as I came in a bit late, but from the tail end of it—dramatic lighting, deep bass drones, and some poor soul getting ass-blasted with pure light. Whatever they did to that guy, it made him… change. Not in a fun, werewolf-on-a-full-moon kind of way, either. No. I'm talking limbs bending into vibrational angles that I certainly can't perceive on my own. Features phasing in and out of our reality… at one point, one of them split—split—like a reflection caught between mirrors. It doesn't even register as wrong to look at it; it just bypasses your brain entirely, like your mind knows better than to try and figure out what the hell is happening.

And the crowd? They. Went. Wild. They were cheering like they just saw the future of existence carved into the flesh of one of their own. You'd think watching someone dissolve into a living impossibility and more than likely dying in the process would've given them pause, but nope. Nope, nope, nope. For them, it's the ticket to godhood, courtesy of Lucifer's big, shiny promise: escape the laws of both Flipside and Otherside. No rules, no limits, just boundless transformation. I don't think Luci has fully figured out what he's doing yet. It's like he's… experimenting. But he's gotta be getting close… I need to see one of these transformations from start to finish to really get an idea of what he's doing though.
