Clue

Hover over the clues if you require!
Clue 1: Who's the most 'abundant' of the three Elders described?
Clue 2: What stands out the most in Miss. Tsj's description?
Clue 3: 'Tsj', by the way, is also a part of her name.

Answer and Explanation

Answer: Ts'jul Dro'zaal
Explanation: Miss. Tsj's description in ENO01 contains bolded letters that spell out 'uldrozaal'. Combining that with her codename, Tsj, gives Tsjuldrozaal - that is, Tsjul Drozaal.

Hoowee… Tsjs, huh? Mighty big fellas. I reckon they can get up to the size of a football field, if not larger. Back when I was with November, we dealt with a Tsj or two every few years. See, once they get big enough, they split like some sorta nasty cosmic jellyfish, what have you. When they split, they shrink, and when they shrink, they sometimes slip out of the Black Tide entirely. These suckers are big, though. Way bigger than I’m used to seein’. I reckon that’s what happens when the Black Tide falters.

So, Tsj'ul Dro'zaals. In the tongue of the Ancient House, anywho. I reckon you could just call ‘em Deep Ones if’n you wanted. As far as November could tell, they are the most basic children of the Pale. Way, way back, antediluvian back, when the Pale was spreadin’ her kin ‘round the world, there were hundreds of these suckers, thanks mostly to their ability to split themselves apart. ‘Course, the Bird called down the flood and washed all them nasty Pale Elders away into the Black Tide. You can tell one Tsj’ul from another by their colors. I’ve seen red, black, gray, blue, and purple myself. And from what I’ve seen, these fellers are all blue—so, Tsj’ul Dro’zaal de la Lazuro. If’n we’re tryin’ to be precise.

Easy enough to take care of—they work like them Finfolks do, in that if ya’ can “kill” ‘em it’ll send ‘em back to the Black Tide. ‘Course, the Tide don’t seem too stable at the moment, so that might not do any good now. Shoot—you know what this reminds me of? That one time me an’ No. 5 wrangled that one Eldritch beast what have you down in San Fran. Don’t reckon he’s forgiven me for that whole escapade yet, but what’re ya gonna do when you’re dogs of the Indigos?
