Summary of Receipt
Carajillo beats up the Pied Piper, Mr. Hamelin. He challenged Mr. Hamelin to a (non-lethal) fight for the sake of stopping the Gossamer Ballast. When he accepted, they just brawled behind the stage and knocked Mr. Hamelin out, obtaining his Last Note of a Melody in the process. Of course, Carajillo had no idea that would get the Note; he just wanted to punch Mr. Hamelin. But they got it, so.

BARISTA ON DUTY: CARAJILLO

I, too, have found myself getting into fights. In fact, I got to witness Espresso’s fight with the Ouroborian. It was quite a show. I wonder if Espresso fights as well sober as he does drunk? Though, according to Naberius, he did put something “extra” in Espresso’s whiskey to ensure his victory—and safety—in his brawl. He offered the same boon to me, though I declined. I’d rather remember beating the Pied Piper to a pulp.
I found it to be rather straightforward, the “last note of a melody.” The Piper plays music, and I beat him up; the last note he plays should suffice. Of course, killing one of Marocchino’s bandmates would be an… overreaction. However, a melody does not have to end in death. It can end in a black eye and a few bruises. The Golden Father does not encourage senseless violence. All fights must be made fair. So, I asked the Piper if he’d be willing to fight to end this night once and for all.
At first, he was hesitant. Marocchino convinced him it would mean they would not have to play more music in the immediate future. And I assured him he could not hurt me. He should try, of course, in the name of having a fair fight. Though my fire burns much brighter than his. So, we had a quick and quiet brawl behind the stage. As he began to play his accursed hypnotic melody on his flimsy flute, I hit him hard and fast. As expected, the vial Naberius gave to Black Coffee was filled with a shimmering chromatic gas. I assume this is the “last note” Naberius requires.
Of course, I wasn’t entirely sure such a thing would work. I wanted to punch the Piper regardless. Hopefully, there will be no hard feelings once the night finally comes to an end.
That’s all.
