Summary of Receipt

Manager 1 talks about the Total Codes: they’re paragraph numbers that should relate to a specific thing. Just check C-CADCM04 for them. Anyway, since all the Cafes are kinda merged together, 1 suggests to just keep using their Cafe-speak and use context clues. Also, all the 8s are the Managers, but actual authority goes like this: Manager 0, then Manager 1, then Manager 5 (Jericho Myerscough), Manager 4 (Julius Mendoza), Manager 3 (Jacquelyne/Jackie), Manager 6 (Joy Livingstone) then Employee 26. The twins are Nicole and Nick Langley, or 44A and 44B respectively. The order of authority is based on seniority and ability.

MANAGER NO. 1

Well, this is strange, huh? I guess not the strangest thing I’ve experienced, but still strange. I think 8 wanted me to go over total codes, right? It’s a system he’s been working on for some time, and I think he’s finally happy with it. The basic idea is each paragraph of your receipt should correspond to a general theme.

Should be pretty easy to keep track of, I think, and should make our Cafe-Speak a little easier for our new boss to understand. Speaking of Cafe-Speak, we all come from different Cafes, but there’s a lot of cross-over in our terms. Salt & Pepper, Friends, Family, Coffee, Comfort Food, Late Nights, etc. For now, we’re just going to use all of our lingo at once and assume we can make up the difference via context clues. The main thing will be using the total codes to provide that context. Also, I think 8 already covered this but all D reports AND C reports are to be sent to Muldra. Both channels. Got it? Good.

As for staff layout, Muldra wants just Managers and Employees, no in-between ranks. And he only wants 8s for Managers. However, chain of command will be largely based on seniority and ability. Manager No. 0 is still all of our 8, then me, then 17, then the twins, then 5, 4, 3, 6, and 26. Past that, fight among yourselves, I guess. If something comes down to 26, something has gone very wrong. (No offense 26.)

That should take care of things mostly and we’ll learn as we go like we always have. Now, let’s get back to JIM and TCW. Lots to do folks. Got a missing girl to find.
