Clue 2: Where are they now?
Clue 3: When did Half Moon sink?
Answer and Explanation
Answer: 1930
Explanation: The puzzle is describing a Half Moon, and in AUS04, it says that it's somewhere on the coast of Miami. Combining that information, you get the Half Moon Wreck, the remains of the racing boat Half Moon that sank in 1930.

Ugh. I forgot how much I truly hate Umbra. He’s such a slimy, self-serving dick. The Manager and I used a water-breathing sigil to go retrieve the Locket from the wreckage of the Half Moon while the Big Guy and H.R. kept watch from the shore. Of course, by the time we got to the ship, Umbra was already there waiting with the Locket in hand. I’m not entirely sure which parts of what he said were lies or the sincere truth, but I am pretty sure he’s putting something sinister together.
Umbra: Well, well, well, if it isn’t [Payroll]. You must be the one I have to thank for thwarting my earlier plans.
Payroll: Eugh.
Umbra: What? You aren’t happy to see me? That’s a shame because I’m happy to see you. I was being genuine, you know—thank you. It was a plan that was more trouble than it was worth.
Manager: The Locket, Umbra.
Umbra: Your latest fling, [Payroll]? Eh, I preferred the Augur, myself. A worth-nothing Myerscough, exiled by his own family? Hardly worth your time, I’m sure.
Manager: ‘Scuse me, Shadow, who do you think you are—
Umbra: I don’t “think” I am anything. I am the Dark. Though—that’s interesting… if you’re here, then I am sure [Big Guy] and [H.R.] must be close by. Am I right?
Manager: How’d you…?
Umbra: I have plans for you three. But—they will have to wait until I’ve found the Enochian Bible. Blueprints are no good without an instruction manual. Anyway—I think we came here for the same reason…
[Umbra dangled the Everebon Locket by its chain. With a roll of his shadowy fingers, the Locket rusted then fell apart, drifting away in the Atlantic’s current.]
Umbra: Repetition is a sign of insanity, you know. It is a shame. With the Locket destroyed poor Charlotte has no way home. Not that a beast like her has any home to return to. Now—with the Locket destroyed, I believe you have no further reason to interfere—
Payroll: We’re going to stop you.
Umbra: Oh?
Payroll: You still have a tab to pay.
Umbra: A tab…? You can’t mean…? Ha… HAHAHA! Do you mean to tell me you’ve joined that pathetic excuse for a Cafe?
Payroll: I’ve opened my own, actually. Right here in Palm Beach.
Umbra: Well, that will make things interesting, won’t it? I wonder… how will your Cafe fare against the Dark?
[Umbra has left the CaDCom transcription range.]
