Answer and Explanation

Answer: Shut Eye

The Manager has a good point. Well, he has a lot of good points, actually—even if they tend to get buried beneath the bottle. Where is the Redman? Oh, sorry, you guys might not know who the Redman is. He’s the asshole who turned my eye red. Long story. Long, stupid story. However, if H.R. or the Big Guy aren’t aware of or familiar with Redman and Umbra’s “relationship,” I’ll do my best to explain it.

So, the Redman is one of Satan’s Boogiemen. One of his best, actually. And the better a Boogieman is, the better their loopholes tend to be. The Redman’s terms are game-based, and while there is a lot of ritual and ceremony to playing his game, the game itself is actually quite simple—and stupid. Basically, he asks you a question; if you get it right, you get to ask him a question in turn. If he gets your question right, that’s your “prize.” Free demonic knowledge. If he can’t answer your question, then and there, he becomes enslaved to you and must aid you in finding the answer to your question. Hundreds of years ago, Umbra played the Redman’s game and asked him a question he could not answer: where is the Enochian Bible?

…And they’ve been together ever since. Aww… isn’t that so… I don’t know, deranged? A bloodstain stuck to a shadow. But, like the Manager said, the Redman’s been… strangely absent lately. Umbra’s whole “kill Leviathan and crack open the Black Tide” plan involved that human girl and not much else. I mean, the Redman could always just be lurking in the shadows. But it doesn’t really matter though. Umbra is and always has been the mastermind. Worrying about the Redman is… pointless. Beyond pointless. Trust me. This won’t end until Umbra and Umbra alone is dealt with.

Speaking of which, H.R. and I had another session to pinpoint the Everebon Locket’s current location, and it seems like it’s where the Moon falls halfway below the tide.
