This is not good, no, this is very much not good AT ALL! It appears we are heading for a MAJOR confrontation with the Dark this coming Monday. Yes, THIS MONDAY! I tell you, this is what I am telling you; I am telling you that this is simply what I have heard. Now, you might be wondering how I, the New Guy, stumbled upon this critical piece of information. Well, you see, so you see, well, I overheard, YES OVERHERD, a hushed conversation at Dead End Valley. You know, the nightclub? I heard that Umbra, Aka, and Pleasant are gearing up for something BIG! YES, BIG!!
I suppose you might be wondering what I was doing in such a sordid place. Well! I will say this, this is what I will say, Payroll left me in charge, remember?! And as the one in charge while she is visiting her family in California I simply had to investigate around our various and many haunts around Palm Beach. And that is where I overhead that rather cryptic conversation between some very nasty customers. They said, and this is what they said, I believe they said that the Dark were planning on taking out the Cafe (OUR CAFE!!!) this coming Monday.
They are most likely counting on the element of surprise. HA! Little do they know we are always ready, and our coffee is always hot! Still, it is very, very important that we prepare for a possible scuffle with the Dark next week. Everyone must be on their toes, and critically, yes, CRITICALLY, I think it is very, very important that I am no longer in charge. So, I have delegated my responsibility to the Manager until Payroll gets back because I simply cannot be held accountable for a massacre. Not again!
