Clue 3: Three-letter mystical lines?
Answer and Explanation
Answer: Ley Lines
Explanation: Ley lines are straight alignments drawn between various historic structures, prehistoric sites and prominent landmarks. Since the 1960s, members of the Earth Mysteries movement and other esoteric traditions have commonly believed that such ley lines demarcate "earth energies" and serve as guides for alien spacecraft.

I’ve been playing around with Payroll’s Tarot deck a bit more, and I really think I’m starting to get the hang of it! As you guys already know, I wasn’t born an Augur. I was… made one. Well, made one… somewhat unintentionally. I guess. To be the Wicked’s mortal vessel, I needed to be able to see well beyond the mundane fabrics of the Flipside and even the Otherside and into the outer planes. It’s… not pleasant stuff. But because I’m not a natural-born Augur, I don’t have all the usual Augur tricks, like second sight. Not… inherently, anyway. I can, or could, peer beyond via flame, but I think I can kinda do the same with the cards!
Basically, I swash them around in a big jumble, and then I force my third eye to see through the backs of the cards. On the surface, it’s kinda just a neat party trick being able to tell what a card is without turning it over. Except, it’s more than just that… it’s… hmm… how to best put it… it’s kinda like Schrödinger’s cat. I know what the cards are without turning them over… until I turn them over. They are what they aren’t. It’s kinda like what the Manager was trying to articulate. It’s a state in between. Which is sorta like second sight! Or, close enough, anyway.
And with the cards swashed and their states in between, I think I was able to see what the Mothmans’s been trying to do. Yes, he’s seeking to bring about a disaster in the Flipside, but his disasters are always carefully placed. He’s attacking not the Flipside but the boundary lines between realms. Under normal circumstances, that is bad. Next to the biggest man-made boundary lines? It could be extremely bad. The damage he’s already caused might be why there’s been an influx of cryptid sightings in the area. Regardless, I know where he’s targeting, and the Manager should be able to disrupt his sigilwork… though it’s going to be one long night.
Peace, love, and Joy!
