The Mothman? You ‘aving a bubble bath? And you lot still fancy a game of tag with a cheeky pup while the Mothman’s out there shaking the Florida Keys to their core? Stone the crows… we need to start getting our cherry pits out and in order. And—a Cappuccino? You’re pulling me plonker, ain’t ya? I’ll let a bit of the unknown slide when it came to Aka, but it’s bleedin’ obvious that Umbra’s roped the Mothman back in for his shady doings. Now, I ain’t clued up on their full backstory, but I know the pair of ‘em were thick as thieves with Old Nick back in the day. Makes you ponder what Umbra’s got in his pocket to keep reelin’ Mothman back in… It certainly ain’t no flashlight.

Poor gags aside, the Mothman’s no teddy bear. Proper serious, he is. I reckon he’s one of the top blooded demons still knocking about. ‘Scuse me. “High demons.” “Blooded” is a bit old hat, choice? Look here, you’ve got two sorts of demons, them that used to be human and them that never was. The ones that never was are some sorta brat from one of those bigwigs like the Devil, Eve, Lilith, and the like. Mothman, for all his pop culture relevance, he’s one of them types. Blessed with mind-bogglin’ panic hypnosis, flying, nippy speeds, near-immortality, and, naturally, his special selection of catastrophic “disaster” spells.

He's often seen loungin’ ‘round the 'auntaurskald Plane. Got a bit of a soft spot for it. Which in the past has got him caught up in Old Nick’s dodgy schemes. ‘Course, with Old Nick having done a runner, Mothman’s been quiet of late. Now it seems he's in cahoots with Umbra again. No other reason he’d show his face ‘round here, in Floridia of all places. He’s more of a Hotbed type when he’s on this side. Hell, he is practically the picture boy of those lumbering blooded—er, high demons. Unless, of course, he’s got paintin’ a Georgia O'Keeffe with the silver surfers. That’d be a sight.
