Explanation: Cannon is in fact the Bandage Man from Cannon Beach.
Summary of Receipt
Barista gets injured by Cannon. His cuts can’t clot, apparently, since he needs a special bandage to get them to stop. He then starts hearing flies buzzing in his ears, saying that if he ‘feeds the beast’, the bleeding will stop. He tries not to go to Crow, but realises that even if he doesn’t, the flies will probably take him to be Crow’s next experiment.

He got me. Cannon got me. Off of 101. There was a stopped car. Hazards were on. I wanted to help. In case, well, in case it was Cannon. It was. No sign of Gemini, or at least I couldn’t see or hear them. I also don’t think these were the kidnapped Society members. I don’t know why Cannon attacked these people. Maybe they weren’t the target. Perhaps they were just the bait. Was I the target? Why... At least I saved them, but I don’t know-

I’m okay. I just need some stitches. I just need some rest.
Though, something else occurred to me. His cuts won’t heal. They can’t heal. Not without a special bandage. I guess that’s how he got his name. They just keep bleeding. I’ve tried to tie a tourniquet, but it’s not working. I need to stop bleeding.

I know how to stop the bleeding. The flies know how to stop it. I hear them buzzing in my ears. I hear them buzzing about a great and powerful beast. If I feed the beast, I can stop the bleeding. How did the flies find me? Am I even still alive? I don’t want to stop the bleeding if it means going to Crow. I don’t want to become his next experiment. I won’t go to him. I won’t feed the beast. But I feel the flies tearing at my flesh. Even if I don’t feed the beast, they will… I-
