The Manager and I made it to the Everglades! I really wish you could've been here too, Payroll, but I guess you're pretty busy figuring out what the heck Florida and Aka were up to over in the Devil's Den. Y'know, it's kinda crazy just how much supernatural stuff happens around here now that I think about it. I guess that's just a side effect of being next to one of the three major areas of activity in North America. Still… things were never quite this crazy in Santa Clarita, and that's along the San Andreas fault. I guess… it's the difference between a force of nature and a force of magic.
In any case, we haven't spotted the Loveland Frogman yet. The Manager has been working out a locator spell of sorts, and I've been trying to see if the tangled-up tarot cards might give us a hint about where he might be. No luck yet on either front, but the cards are still very much tangled up around the Fool, which leads me to believe the Loveland Frogman is still here. Or… y'know, some kinda other customer that is tied to the Fool. Something's here, at the very least!
Well—now this is kinda interesting. I just pulled a new card. Like, totally new and actually tied to the… present, or maybe the future? It's… not great either. The Nine of Swords. A card warning of anxiety, nightmares, and fear. Umbra? Or… maybe Pleasant is still down in this part of Florida? The Fool and the Nine of Swords definitely feel like they are tied together. More so than any other card, of course. Everything seems tied to the Fool—to Loveland. I wonder why? He's not supposed to be anything special, right? He's just a short humanoid-frog cryptid-demon guy. Very strange. Well! We'll just have to find him before the swords come crashing down on us!
Peace, love, and Joy!
