Summary of Receipt

44 and 62 make it to RMS Queen Mary and begin collecting data, with 62 taking some kind of 'Blood Signature' - a unique identifier for cryptids and demons from the Otherside, though it's not actually blood. 44 also reports that they've sensed a strange pressure inside the ship itself - which, by the way, was experiencing oddly calm weather akin to an eye in a storm - which they suspect to be the location of the customer; presumably a cryptid.

#62 and I were able to collect our data from the area around the Queen Mary, though we still aren’t sure what is causing this strange weather. We collected some data on the weather, and something #62 referred to as a “Blood Signature.” Apparently, a Blood Signature is a sort of unique identifier for cryptids and demons from the Otherside. It’s not actually blood but a sort of particle that can be picked up by certain sensors. It’ll take some time for #62 to take the Blood Signature and run it through the CaD Database to see if it matches up with any known customers.

While #62 is working on that, I can discuss a bit about the weather phenomenon and what it might mean. So, the area around the Queen Mary was strangely calm, especially compared to the havoc that is being wrought elsewhere in Long Beach. I would compare it to the eye of a storm, and that might be exactly what it is. However, inside the Queen Mary, there seemed to be a very small but powerful anomalous pressure system that seemed to be in a consistent position. #62, and I believe whatever that is, it’s the cause of this weather.

We do know that whatever it is, it has to be some sort of customer, a cryptid or demon. Otherwise, it wouldn’t give off a Blood Signature. At least, that’s the impression I got. I’m guessing, based on the size, it might be a cryptid. The strange weather “ball” we detected was only 2-3 inches big. Most demons are at least a few feet tall, even at their smallest. But cryptids? Cryptids can be as small as germs. Until we know for sure, though, we don’t want to rush in. An angry weather cryptid is one thing, but an angry weather demon is another.
