Cherry Trivia | 2 Words

Clue

Hover over the clues if you require!
Clue 1: What is 99.3% of all time?
Clue 2: Specifically, a time period.
Clue 3: So substituting that into the puzzle gives the lyrics (or close enough) to which song?

Answer and Explanation

Answer: Cherry Bomb
Explanation: '99.3% of all time' refers to the Stone Age. Replacing those words with 'stone age' gives the phrase 'stone age love, might sound strange too', which is very similar to the lyrics 'Stone age love and strange sounds too' from the song Cherry Bomb.

Be real now. Nutty has gotta know how to bust open a portal, right? With all that magic he's got in his blood—well, then again, probably better he doesn't try any new spells. He can hardly cast a simple fire spell. So probably best we start him off small, scene? I ain’t much to talk, though. Opening portals? That’s outta my league too. I'm sure my Tanty could handle it, but no chance she's gonna teach me that just yet. She's a bit overprotective of her property, and the Otherside ain’t too friendly to humans unless you’re in one of the Commonwealths.

Generally, if you want to open or access a portal from the Flipside into the Otherside you need to go through the Decodex Society. That could drag for months, even years, and more than likely they’ll just shut you down. And don’t talk about getting back. Once you're in the Otherside, the only way back is to have the Orchard Concord allow you to use one of their three portals into the Flipside. And they always ask for something you don’t want to give. Plus, none of them in the Cores are friendly to deal with.

But… it's not like the Society or the Concord can control every in-and-out scene? For example, my Tanty occasionally lets me into the Vile Court for business, bargaining, and lectures. She don't ask Eve, the Devil, or Belphegor to let me in each and every time; she just know the way in, is all. Plenty folks and demons do. Problem is, you can't go around flaunting your ability to sidestep the Concord's rules. That's a quick way for them to take 'em away. Though we don't need access to the Vile Court or even the Midside at all—we need the Downside for our little blood-sucker…
