RECEIPT DATE: 9 6 19XX
MANAGER TITLE: MON AMOUR
RECEIPT NOTES:
Well… you wouldn’t think a mere dog could give a Prince of Hell so much trouble, yet here we are. The darn thing is quick! We haven’t even gotten a good look at the creature—it’s that fast. And despite leaving out some bait, this Chupacabra seems to know exactly when our backs are turned to sneak a sip of goat’s blood. I’ll admit, I’m being bested by what can only be described as a prestissimo poof-ball… but at least I’m having fun!
I’m sure I’ve earned a reputation as the most conceited of the Princes—Pride is a heavy sin to bear, after all—but I’m not so egotistical that I can’t appreciate the charm in chasing a little Chupacabra with mon amour and one of my sweetest patrons. There's far too much doom and gloom in being a Prince of Hell most of the time. So, honestly? I find some appeal in spending a relaxing—albeit occasionally frustrating—afternoon here in the Flipside. Between you, me, and the wall, I’ve always had a soft spot for this side of the fence.
As for our little speed demon… I’m fairly certain it’s a Caesimagese Chupacabra, one of Mammon’s breeds. He more affectionately calls them… ugh… “Precious Mammongese.” Cute, small, and disgustingly pampered. It’s odd seeing a Caesimagese so active, though—they’re basically glorified lap and purse dogs, infamous for refusing to touch the ground unless it’s life or death. Which… doesn’t bode well for our little Chupacabra, does it? The poor thing must be terrified. I’ll see if I can figure out how to calm him down long enough to send him back to Mammon’s Mammonsoleum.
