I guess… for the time being, the fragments of the Eight can still hold back the Wicked’s influence. And it’s not like Big Guy—Julius—is dead or anything. He’s just… he’s gone. And we don’t know where. He left last night, and the only thing he said was what was on his last receipt.
I… Ugh! I hate all this stupid conflict! Why do you both have to be such stubborn assholes all the time? Can’t you just try and go with the flow for once? Would it kill either of you?! I don’t want to always be the peacemaker. I guess, with Julius gone, I don’t need to. Just to be clear, just because you’re Nikki’s current favorite toy, she isn’t on your side, and if the three of us are going to continue to work together, you either need to commit or quit.
…I guess I just need to trust the path that Julius is on and that he’ll find his way back to us when he’s ready. But, seriously, Rico, you messed up. You put your whole ass on the scale of Karmic Balance… so get ready for the swing back thrice fold. I can only hope that the Universe is merciful to you—to us—and that the energy we get back is one of learning, growing, and changing. The Universe isn’t often that kind.
