Alright… so… we’re moving on to the final fragment of the Key of Three, which is… as far as we can tell, somewhere in Quebec. To be more specific, it is around our Ichor Distribution Center. Now, for all of the Quebec business we’ve undertaken so far, we haven’t actually *been* to Quebec yet. Sure, Ottawa is a fairly common trip for us, but Quebec? That’s a whole new frontier. Thankfully, it seems like Quebec may be a bit more picturesque than Ottawa—storybook-like, even. Which should give us some degree of safety when traveling there.
On the other hand, Ichor—out of all of our drinks—has the most fragmented, overlapping, and oftentimes chaotic of flavors. I mean, what can you really expect from a grape-based cocktail named after the blood of gods? What is and isn’t, for lack of a better word, “canon” to our Ichor Distribution Center is very much up for debate. Plus, the usual crew seems to be taking an extended sabbatical to test out tartar sauces up the coast, leaving Miss. Nocturnal in charge.
To our knowledge, Miss. Nocturnal has employed three of her most trusted employees, Miss. Meg, Tisi, and presumably Alec, to guard the fragments of the Ichor Antekey. Additionally, she’s had at least one of her kids, Miss. Guile help in hiding and safeguarding one of the fragments. We believe the original plan of Miss. Nocturnal was to hide one piece in the States, one in Ottawa, and one in Quebec. However, the Ottawa fragment washed up in the Big Easy and the States fragment in the Hum ended up attracting quite a few customers to also pursue it. All that to say, we can’t be certain that the fragment in Nocturnal’s region of Quebec is even there. And if it is? It may have attracted others to snatch it up before us.
