All Endings (J-HN104)
This page will collate and archive all the various 'receipts' obtainable from J-HN104, along with the respective ghost and passcode chosen. This includes the one provided in the main page. The receipts will be arranged in alphabetical order, like the order provided in H-HN103, and the title will state which of the four endings - bad, neutral, good, or true - this obtains.

That did not go as planned. I really thought it was going to be another Apparition. I hoped the ghosts we’d face would be similar to the ones before, but the banishing sigil we used on the Collyer Brothers didn’t do a thing to this one. Whatever that ghost was, it messed me up bad… And now, I’m wondering if I’m really cut out for this.
The Ghost of the Pine Barrens is still out there, and now that it’s tasted blood… I don’t know what we should do. Or can do. I… I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have gotten involved in any of this. I’m not a "barista" like you guys. I’m just… no one. And now, I can’t shake the feeling that it followed me home. I swear, it’s still watching me.
Banshee (ilv0S) - Neutral Ending

FILE REFERENCE [J-HN104]
I… don’t think that worked. I set up a “Spirit Trap,” but it didn’t seem to do anything. The ghost in the Pine Barrens just got angrier and lashed out at me. Maybe I didn’t make the trap correctly? I’m not even sure what a Spirit Trap is. No. 161 told me it was probably similar to a Witch Bottle, so we filled a bottle with red thread, pins, needles, and rosemary. But… maybe that’s not what the RRBT meant by “Spirit Trap”?
When the ghost attacked, I dropped all my ghost-hunting gear, and then there was this bright flash, and the ghost was gone. So… something worked, but I have no idea what. That could have gone way worse if the ghost had more time to strike. Next time, I think I’ll study the RRBT more carefully.
Bogey (ec7Pd) - Neutral Ending

FILE REFERENCE [J-HN104]
I… don’t think that worked. I thought it was a Bogey, based on the yellow eyes and distorted features that one girl described. Maybe she just saw some branches and got it confused for part of the ghost? Anyway, I tried splashing Holy Water on it, but that just seemed to piss it off. Then it lashed out, and I felt like I was completely surrounded by it.
When the ghost attacked, I dropped all my supplies, and then there was a bright flash, and it was gone. Something in there worked, but I don’t know what. That could have gone a lot worse if it had just a few more seconds. I’m going to study the RRBT more closely next time.
Doppelganger (OIoiF) - Good Ending
BRANCH [LONG ISLAND]

SERVER [EMPLOYEE NO. 1124]
BEVERAGE [LONDON FOG]
FILE REFERENCE [J-HN104]
Hey! That actually worked! I mean, I was kind of just going off a hunch, but it paid off. I figured the ghost must’ve been a Doppelganger because of how wildly different everyone’s accounts were. So, I headed over to the main part of the forest where the sightings happened, laid down some salt, and placed a few sheets of iron. Within a few minutes, the ghost was gone! Probably back in the Achegloom…
Although I wasn’t expecting it to be so… gory? Ghosts aren’t supposed to bleed, right? But there was this huge splatter of ghost blood where the Doppelganger touched the salt. So… yikes. At least that’s another haunting taken care of!
Echo (Ycivl) - Bad Ending
### BRANCH [LONG ISLAND] DATE [21-27-01] SERVER [EMPLOYEE NO. 1124] BEVERAGE [LONDON FOG] FILE REFERENCE [J-HN104]
That did not go as planned. I really thought I was dealing with an Echo. I guess I should’ve thought about how I’d actually appease one, but I was hoping it would all become obvious once I got there. It didn’t. Whatever that ghost was, it did a serious number on me… And now, I’m starting to think I’m not cut out for this kind of work.
The Ghost of the Pine Barrens is still out there, and now that it’s had a taste for blood… I’m not sure what we can do. What we should do. I… I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have gotten involved in all this. I’m not like you guys—a "barista" or whatever. I’m just… no one. And now I’m worried that the ghost has followed me back. I swear, I still feel it watching me.

BRANCH [LONG ISLAND]

SERVER [EMPLOYEE NO. 1124]
BEVERAGE [LONDON FOG]
FILE REFERENCE [J-HN104]
I… don’t think that worked. I don’t even think it was a Fetch. Sure, some descriptions fit, but when I got to the Pine Barrens, the ghost definitely wasn’t humanoid. Even if it was a Fetch, don’t you need to know what’s keeping them in the Flipside to appease them? And I’m pretty sure we didn’t have enough info for that.
I fumbled around, trying to figure it out, but the ghost just got angrier and lashed out at me. I dropped all my supplies, and there was a bright flash, and then it was gone. Something worked, but I don’t know what. It could’ve gone a lot worse if it had a few more seconds to attack. Next time, I really need to study the RRBT more closely.

SERVER [EMPLOYEE NO. 1124]

FILE REFERENCE [J-HN104]
I… don’t think that worked. I tried using the same Banishing Sigil No. 116 and 611 used for the Collyer Brothers, but it didn’t work on this ghost. I’m guessing it wasn’t actually a Ghast, even though the reports mentioned red eyes and its massive size. Still, it lashed out like a Ghast, and whatever it was, it sure had a lot of tangibility.
When it attacked, I dropped my supplies, and then there was a bright flash, and the ghost was gone. So… something worked, but I have no idea what. It could have gone much worse if the ghost had a few more seconds. I need to go over the RRBT more carefully next time.

SERVER [EMPLOYEE NO. 1124]

FILE REFERENCE [J-HN104]
That did not go as planned. I really thought it was going to be a Harbinger. It made sense in my head—the first ghost I’d go after would be some kind of omen or cosmic sign about my destiny or something. But it wasn’t. Whatever that ghost was, it wrecked me… And I’m starting to think I’m not cut out for this.
The Ghost of the Pine Barrens is still out there, and now that it’s had a taste for blood… I don’t know what we should do. What can we do? I… I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have gotten involved. I’m not like you—I'm not a "barista." I’m just… no one. And now, I’m scared that the ghost followed me back. I still feel it, watching me.
Lurker (S794U) - True Ending
BRANCH [LONG ISLAND]

SERVER [EMPLOYEE NO. 1124]
BEVERAGE [LONDON FOG]
FILE REFERENCE [J-HN104]
Woah… Lurker ectoplasm is no joke. I figured it had to be a Lurker based on a few key hints. First off, while the sightings all mentioned yellow-orange eyes, the only ghost we know with orange eyes is a Fetch. But Fetches are more or less like normal humans, just ghostly—not something that’d be lurking in the bushes. Also, people kept saying the ghost seemed huge, even bigger than some trees at times, and a Fetch is only human-sized. The branch-like limbs almost made me think it was a Bogey, but Lurkers blend in with plants. And then the final, most critical detail—the kid who drew us the picture? I think he has red-green color blindness. So, with that in mind, it was pretty clearly a big green ghost with yellow eyes… a Lurker. Or is it Lurkers, plural? It’s the only ghost in the RRBT to be pluralized. So… I don’t know.
When I put down some salt and a few sheets of iron to keep it contained, it exploded into a shower of bright, sticky, green ectoplasm. And, by the way, it smells exactly like rot and decay. I can see why the old man who stepped in some of it said the stench lingered on his clothes. But thankfully, salt was all it took to clear up this Lurkers problem.
And… weirdly, the RRBT started glowing after I dealt with the Lurker. When I opened it up, there was a new entry at the very back:
GHOST NO. 71 – THE BLISTER LURKERS
A twisted variant of the common Lurker, the Blister Lurkers haunt the scorched ruins of lush woodlands. Their forms are born of ash and cinder, not vine and root. Their hulking red bodies, charred and cracked, leak embers with every motion. They seethe with the heat of unresolved rage, their touch burning like molten coals. Unlike their quieter counterparts, Blister Lurkers carry the smell of smoke and scorched flesh, leaving singed trails in their wake as they stalk their prey. What they lack in subtlety, they make up for in sheer terror, turning any battlefield into a blazing nightmare where even the shadows burn. Unlike their more common counterparts, Blister Lurkers can only be extinguished with a combination of Holy Water, Salt, and Iron.

That did not go as planned. I really thought I was going up against a Mare. Honestly, I’m kind of glad it wasn’t, because I have no clue how to exorcise anything yet. Still, I thought I was ready for a Mare. But this… this was something else entirely. Whatever it was, it hit me hard… And now I’m wondering if I’m really meant for this kind of work.
The Ghost of the Pine Barrens is still out there, and now that it’s had a taste for blood… I don’t know what we should do. Or what we even can do. I… I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have gotten mixed up in this. I’m not like you guys—a "barista" or whatever. I’m just… no one. And I’m worried that the ghost followed me back. I still feel like it’s watching me.
