It’s good to be home. I mean, I was here almost less than a month ago. But still, nice to be back to the House. I’ve grown pretty... Well, I guess “close” would be the right word. I’ve grown close to the House. It might seem a little weird to be buddies with a semi-inanimate object. But after spending 3 years with the House, it’s starting to feel like home. Nevertheless, it’s been nice to get back to the coffee trade.
Anyway, enough of the obligatory receipt rambling. We’re here to kill some clowns. Yaksha has confirmed that what we are dealing with is indeed Mrs. Pierrot/the coulromycosis. As I’ve come to learn about the Hotbed, I know this much; the things that go bump in the night here are on a triangular spectrum split between magic, science, and occultic. If I had to place the coulromycosis, it’s somewhere between science and the occult. While I’m not sure who is responsible for this plague, it would be the late, not-so-great, Dr. Crow if I had to point fingers. It reeks of one of his many strange and unsettling experiments. Unfortunately, any evidence that would point towards Crow is long gone since the House reformed. Of course, it could also be that the coulromycosis is simply endemic to the area. Stranger things have happened out here. Though it seems almost too perfect to be a natural affliction.
Anyway, now that we got the House to manifest, I can keep it anchored for at least a week. However, after the week is up, it’ll vanish again, and I don’t think any of us want to wait for it to come back around. So we’ll need to figure out if the coulromycosis is here or not by then. In the meantime, we’ll keep in touch with Yaksha, though from what they’ve told us, they have their outbreak under control. For now. Though how coulromycosis spores found their way to Singapore... that is a mystery that remains to be solved. So far, we haven’t seen any killer clowns around, but we also haven’t done too much searching. We figured it’d be better to get to Dracula Dr., figure things out, then get to clowning around. 26 is going to go out tonight with 17, and they’ll take a look around. Meanwhile, me and 2312 will do some research from inside the nice and safe, House. We don’t need to be messing around with weaponized clowns.
