CAFE RECEIPT
RECEIPT NUMBER: SHS03
RECEIPT DATE: 10 22 1988
MANAGER TITLE: MON AMOUR
RECEIPT NOTES:

Eight’s pretty much got my siblings figured out, though he missed some of the finer points of their personalities. Sure, it’s kind of in our titles: I’m prideful, Mammon’s greedy, Satan’s wrathful, Belphie’s slothful, Beez’s gluttonous, Levi’s envious, and Asmi’s lustful. But there’s more to us than that, and it’s crucial to keep those nuances in mind going into this meeting. I’ll leave my CaDCom on, but just to be clear—none of you should attend or even try to show up. I can’t exactly sell my ignorance if I bring you guys along, can I?

So, here’s the real rundown on my siblings. Starting with Satan, who probably gets the worst rap out of all of us. He is wrathful, sure. He has a temper. But most of the time he’s actually rather calm and collected. Ages ago, he was the one in charge of running our childhood home. He’s a leader, a general, a warlord—ill-tempered, maybe, but only when provoked. I don’t expect him to be much trouble in our meeting.

Asmodeus? She’s lustful, but the more she indulges that, the more paperwork piles up on her desk. Managing the afterlife in Amaymon is no small feat. She lusted after having the most human souls upon death… back when a few hundred passed over daily. Now, with 100,000-plus arriving every day, she’s exhausted, and honestly, she’ll probably just be annoyed that I’m pulling her away from her work.

Beelzebub is gluttonous, true, and his mind tends to stay fixed on his endless feasts rather than cosmic issues—assuming they don’t interrupt his flow of meals. But he’s also the most introverted of us. Just being in a room with all his siblings will drain him. Fast.

Leviathan? He used to be envious—until he was given endless oceans of responsibility. He thrives in managing his Plane, and out of all my siblings, he’ll likely be the most concerned about any Universal threats and their implications for him, his Horrors, his subjects, his Plane, and most importantly, his charge: the Black Tide.

And then there’s Mammon. He’s insatiable—always scheming, always plotting. He won’t be satisfied until he owns every last thing in the Universe. Annoying, narcissistic, opportunistic, and maybe even lazier than Belphegor, his current accomplice. He wants and wants, but the thought of actually working? He turns his nose up at it.

Lastly, Belphegor… she’s the oldest and by far the least like the rest of us. We’re all mortal—more or less—and technically so is she, but… not really. She controls time itself and has been able to remain in her current form a lot longer than the rest of us. I doubt she’ll cause any trouble at the meeting. Mammon, though? Big time.
