CUSTOMER & ORDER: THE SOCIETY
SERVER: BIG GUY

Following the events of our recent service and considering their unfortunate outcome, our association with the Society of Nom de Plume has formally concluded. I won't share what William had to say about it, as he is neither the leader nor is his opinion on the matter productive. Now, it is time to close this book and move forward with our work independently. Based on what William had to say, I seriously doubt we will be working together again in the future.

The future. A funny thing, isn't it? While our alliance with the Society has ended, there is something I haven’t been able to shake. Four, five, and six. Names from another time and another place. A future yet to come. I can't shake the nagging sensation that our work with the Society cannot truly be over. Then again, perhaps the completion of the Mechanism has shifted events in such a way that we will not see that future. Perhaps it is for the best. I do not care for William's candor or rapport.

Still—to other members of the Society of Nom de Plume, to the Professor, we extend our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and collaboration. While we have failed, in a way, I do believe things would have been worse without your help. And, likewise, I believe it is worth keeping in mind how much worse you all would have fared without our help, as well. If in the future any of you require a cup of coffee (besides William), our books are always open. You know how to get in touch, as do we. Deepest apologies that things ended the way they did—and hopefully we are still on course for a brighter future.

That's all.

Big Guy.
