WHAT A BATTLE THAT WAS!!! WOW!!! It's not every day, no not every day, that you see a giant Nutcracker spewing umbral energy and declaring dominion over all of Florida! I suppose, yes, I suppose if I had a nickel for every time Florida took control of, well, Florida, I would have two nickels! It's not a lot, but it's odd that it happened twice! But, the Manager, and H.R., and Big Guy, they were all so very spectacular! Their combined power and their torrent of xanthic flames—it was bright enough to melt away the Dark entirely! Of course, such power comes with a heavy, heavy cost. But it was such a sight to behold, indeed!!!
But, you see, so you see, this is where things get truly interesting, yes interesting! Umbra was bluffing about having the Mechanism at first but now he truly has it! It is complete and reforged from the Blight Flame! This is not good, this is simply not good. It is like Umbra said himself, with the Mechanism he can conjure congeries of unimaginable wealth from thin air! Unless that part was also a bluff. I do not know how exactly the Mechanism works… does it only show you where to go to get things or does it somehow bring them to you? I am guessing it is the former… so Umbra will need some help in fetching his found prizes.
Which… makes me wonder who Umbra will hire next for the Dark? Hoffmann is, well, you see, he is most likely very much dead. He exploded. And Robert also should be dead, but you know how he is, very, very slippery. But… I must assume that Cannon is no longer working directly for the Dark now that they have the Mechanism. Not that I don't think Umbra could find his help useful, but you see, he is somewhat bound to the wrong side of the country for the Dark's operations, no?
