This icy hellscape is both beautiful and, like, perilous. Shimmering icicles are like daggers constantly being hurled at us from unseen toys hiding in snowdrifts. This whole winter land is laid out like a huge frozen maze—except we don't have to worry about losing sight of the massive Nutcracker at its center. Every so often, the massive Robert Nutcracker will catch sight of us and spew out one of his laser-beam things, forcing us to scramble. But generally speaking, things could be worse, y'know? Like, our CaDCom says two days have passed, but for us it feels like it's only been, like… maybe an hour or so? No need to sleep or eat here… just fight.

Always fighting.

Drosselmeyer made a humongous hoard of enchanted toy soldiers. He must've been working on these since we took out the Unseen and Unheard. We've destroyed at least half a dozen or so, spilling out their ink-like blood. It kinda makes me wonder how "Godfather" Drossel is even holding up with all this toy carnage. Maybe if we slay enough toy soldiers it'll start to make a dent in the Nutcracker too? His enchantment powers are all linked together, right? I hope so… On the bright side, Big Guy's been doing a fantastic job leading us from skirmish to skirmish. He's really taken on the role of a seasoned general, coordinating our attacks and figuring out the best strategies to exploit the weaknesses in the toy soldier's formations.

On the less bright side… the Manager has been throwing everything he has at the Nutcracker when possible. We've basically been moving clockwise around the maze faster than the Nutcracker can follow us, giving us a few moments where we end up behind him. And once we're out of his sight and out of the way of his energy blasts, the Manager has tried spell after spell, incantation after incantation, and nothing is working. I guess it was made to be a weapon for Asmodeus, right? So, common magic won't work on it—or, well, it shouldn't work on it. But then… what will?

Peace, love, and Joy!
