So, you see, so you see, things have gone so very weird!! Yes! It's true!!! Umbra, Hoffmann, and Florida, and I suppose the power of the Nutcracker, have placed us into some sort of nightmare winter wonderland! It is both very fascinating and, yes, terrifying too! There is a constant flurry of snow falling down, and everything is covered in a thick layer of deadly ice! All of the Masquerade guests turned out to be enchanted toy soldiers, probably made by Hoffmann, and they have gone about patrolling the Nutcracker's horrific—yet somewhat whimsical—domain.
But, but, but, in this flurry of frozen chaos, we have run into one other real person—NINE! From the Society!! You see, he was the only person from the Society who attended the Masquerade Ball. He was dressed as an OWL! YES! AN OWL! But we did not see him because there were so many fake toy-guests everywhere. Nine has explained what he thinks has happened. This is what he thinks happened, this is his thoughts on it, he thinks that Umbra was able to hold onto a small bit of the Scepter of Solomon's power, which had seeped into Lucifer's Hair. With that hair and with the Nutcracker, Umbra and Hoffmann were able to merge the Nutcracker with Robert the Doll, bringing back a bit of his reality-warping powers!
However, all is not lost! With Nine's help, we've started devising a plan to stop the 100-foot Robert the Doll the Nutcracker and, and, and, it will be a tab paid in full! It simply must be! To merge with the Nutcracker, Robert destroyed his own body! So, if we can just find a way to push that nasty little Shade out of Drosselmeyer's weapon, he will be done for GOOD! Of course, we don't know exactly what we are up against yet, so we're going to have to figure out what the Nutcracker is capable of—and where its weaknesses lie.
