First and foremost, Happy Halloween, my beloved Cafe and Diner. I know between the Dinner Party from Hell and the Reign of Robert, it has been an exciting few weeks leading up to today. Still, I want to thank you all for your excellent work. And, of course, an extra special thanks to our very first Barista for assisting us this month. You are more than welcome to stop by in the future should things get too boring at your Cafe. Though… from what I’ve heard, with all the new fast food joints popping up, you may not have the time.
As for a recap of what we have learned of the Dark and their plans this month, with Aplut out, Cannon and Gemini are in, Gemini seems to be related to their mysterious toymaker. After the Scepter stunt Florida pulled, I wouldn’t be surprised if he is on his way out. Not smart to cross Umbra like that, huh? Cannon was brought on specifically to target a mechanism of interest to the Dark, and considering the geography of his terms, he may be out as well. But… Gemini, Floria, and Cannon would make four… perhaps the toymaker makes five? Ah, and Pleasant is still missing.
Looks like next month, we’ll need to focus on keeping this Mechanism safe and figure out if we can’t obtain or destroy enough of it to hinder the Dark entirely. We also need to pin down this toymaker, as he’s now got Aplut and Gemini in his portfolio. We can’t stop the Dark if they are able to keep adding new members out of thin air. But… as for today? Relax, enjoy the festivities, and rest up for next month.
