MANAGER TITLE: BALTIMORE
RECEIPT NOTES:
Happy October, everyone. I had planned a whole speech about how this month is difficult for me, given my parents’ deaths—but as you both know by now, it’s been a long, long time since they passed. I feel I’ve had my time to grieve and to move forward. Still, their loss is a reminder of why we brew the coffee we do and serve the customers we serve. There needs to be a precise balance between Canada and the States, and we are uniquely positioned to help maintain it. Which brings me to my main point: Mr. Andros has been spotted in Sequoia National Forest.
Mr. Andros is a customer from mon amour’s Ottawa region—a rather affable guy, so long as he’s treated with respect. He’s a force of karmic repercussions, and I can only imagine the S&P would be keen to study how he wields such powerful currents of fortune, both good and ill, on those who cross his path. I can think of several divisions within the S&P who would love to have a subject like him in their collection… before ultimately discarding him once he’s served his purpose like the rest. Again—someone needs to keep the balance without resorting to such drastic measures, right?
Unfortunately, Mr. Andros isn’t exactly subtle when he crosses into the States. He has a habit of bending the trees around him to form a suitable spot for his hammock. These distinctive tree formations will be our best way to track him, though given we’re about a month late, I wouldn’t be surprised if the S&P has already started looking for the same signs. And while I doubt even Mr. Andros could bend the mighty Sequoias to his will, the limber pines in the forest are likely close enough to his preferred Bahamian pines to serve his needs.
