You will not believe this, you simply will not believe this! This is what happened, I am telling you this is what happened, it happened like this: I had an encounter with the Nightcrawlers near the Miracle Hot Springs while I was on my way to find you!! YES!! It is true! They were glowing in the dark and moving around the edge of the hot springs, sort of splishing and splashing in the water. I think there must have been three or four of them, all just playing in the water! YES! PLAYING!
Well, okay, actually, they might have been trying to wash something off of themselves. They were dipping their legs into the hot springs, one at a time, almost as if they were scrubbing off some sort of invisible dirt or grime or something nasty like that. It was quite the sight!! They’d just sort of extend a leg into the water, hold it there for a few moments, and then slowly lift it out before repeating the process. It could have also maybe been ritualistic? Like some kinda ceremony? OH! A CLEANSING CEREMONY MAYBE?!
Even from a safe distance, I could feel the warmth radiating off of them, mixing with the steam from the hot springs. It was almost like standing next to a gentle, living bonfire made out of little glowy leggies. They didn’t seem to notice me, and if they did, they did not mind my presence as long as I didn’t try to disturb them. Though… knowing tourists… someone will try and disturb them sooner rather than later, so we simply must help them get back to the Morningstar as soon as possible! I’m sure you must be nearby, and then, yes, and then we can handle this order together! It is a fairly easy one, after all. Did you know I killed a manananggal once? IT IS TRUE!
