[BRANCH] THE LAST CAFE
[SERVER] II
[DATE] 10/14/22

[SECURITY] DINER

Just heard from Beez. Levi’s missing. I’m not exactly sure what’s going on, but it’s pretty obvious, right? Princes don’t just go missing. Someone—Willow DeWeaver—is trying to open the Gates. I can’t say I’m surprised she’d attempt something like that. She hardly knows us, after all. It’s been ages, and even before then… besides Lucy, none of us were ever that close to her. Still, we’ve gotta stop her before she actually goes through with it. Of course, I might be a little biased in wanting to stop her—self-preservation and all—but no good can come from freeing the Debt. Not yet, anyway.

There’s a good chance Levi’s in… what are we calling it? Newfoundland? Whatever. Eden. He might already be in Eden, or he could’ve fled to avoid capture. I’m heading to the Hollow to meet up with Beez, see if we can find him before Willow does. No point in searching Eden, though—the last thing you want to do when dealing with a spider is walk right into her web. I’m betting—hoping really—that Levi had the same idea and bolted as far as he could.

Actually, that might not be the worst plan if we can’t find him. As long as Beez and I stay alive, Willow can’t win. Well—technically she could, I guess, if she used her own Key. But that’s a bit more complicated than it sounds. At the very least, we can buy some time. That’s what I’m good at, after all—buying time. Killing time. Wasting time. Whatever.

If you don’t hear from me again, don’t assume the worst right away. I might just be hiding out, waiting for this whole mess to blow over. Or, you know, waiting for you guys to make it blow over. I doubt it’ll sort itself out on its own.
