This is a stupid idea. A really stupid idea. I don't want any part of it, to be honest. I also considered forbidding No. 422 from taking part in this scheme. Of course, he's well grown up at this point, so… he gets to make his own mistakes. Best case? All this work, all the sacrifices, all the sins No. I has committed to get to this point; it underwhelms. It fails. It burns out, it breaks, it spits out nonsense. That's the best case. Worst case? This thing… it disrupts the flow of time itself. I know that No. I feels like there is little else he has to learn about the spinning of cycles, but trust me, he doesn't even know the half of it.

Look—while I don't want any part of it, I'm not going to let him screw things up like my sister did. I checked everything that No. I would allow me to check. If it works, IF, it will likely "destroy" our time to do so. He wouldn't let me actually see how he's planning to power it, but my guess is that running it isn't free. Worse, once it's turned on, we won't be able to stop it. It'll run until it's done, and we have no way of knowing how long that'll be. Time will continue, of course, but we won't have any agency within it. Theoretically, this could have been avoided if I had let him use parts of my Plane, but… no. That pushes this already bad idea into a catastrophic one.

I don't feel comfortable giving up who knows how much time to see a story from long ago that doesn't matter now. It didn't even happen here—it happened way, way back when. Worse… this is exactly the kind of stuff He punishes, you know. I get that No. I thinks he's different in His eyes, but he isn't. No one is. I guess maybe you'll see that for yourselves now. Let's just hope that when everything starts back up again, we aren't already all dead. Or worse.
