Research | 2 Words

Clue

Hover over the clues if you require!
Clue 1: What is the 'morning star'? In the astronomical sense, that is.
Clue 2: Look at C-TMFD05 and CD-MORE05 for Ringan Storm's 'name'.
Clue 3: Have you tried searching that name up?
Clue 4: Jeanne Duval and Venus.

Answer and Explanation

Answer: Black Venus
Explanation: In C-TMFD05, Aplut calls themselves Jeanne. Additionally, in CD-MORE05, Lucifer says that Jean-Marc wanted to name their child Jeanne Baudelaire. Searching up this give you Jeanne Duval, who was in an affair with Charles Baudelaire. Charles' nickname for her was Black Venus.

BLIMEY! What an Elliot Ness we’ve got on our German bands now. Ringan Storm ‘as hammer and tacked, and the thought of that ball of negative electricity and ‘ellfire runnin’ wild in Florida is makin’ my Vera Lynn crawl. The thought that it—that she—could hurt you. Either of you. Lawds below me! Every fiber of my bein’ wants to ‘op on the next flight with a hammer and tack to join the hoppin’ pot to sort this bloody living nightmare out. But… I can’t now, can I? I shouldn’t. Not chicken pen we’re this close to catching up with Mothman. ‘Specially considering who Mothman is rubbing elbows with these days. What’s worse, do you reckon? A Storm or a Phantom?

‘Sides, we’ve almost got Mothman. We’re so close. And we won’t let ‘im do his lil’ vanishin’ trick again. He’s ‘eaded to Reno next, lookin’ to exploit a Lane Between near some sorta “Shadow Mountain”. Problem is, the closer we get to Long Beach, the closer we’re going to having the Third Colonel breathin’ down our necks. I doubt those kids’ll just let us by without payin’ any attention to us. Damn! We’re really dancing on the knife’s edge now, aren’t we? One slip up, one accidental run-in, and the whole of our secret lil’ Colonel gets blown.

Stopping the Mothman in Reno is our Mae West of a shot. If we can’t do it there, we won’t be able to do it at all. His next stop has to be the original Colonel, which, if my research is right, was built with a whistle and pop of a Lane Between as well. ‘Course, with Ringan Storm back in a full body—I’d scapa fla hammer and tack and be in the big ol’ hoppin’ pot and leave the Mothman to the Third Colonel. I really would. Realistically, I don’t think they can stop him, but having him pop in just to slip between Lanes… It shouldn’t cause any problems. Plus, Big Guy’s with them, yeah? He can keep them safe. I know he can.
