No. 71’s conversation with Hades got me thinking… why hasn’t Nyx tried to free the Gods? I mean, we don’t know that she hasn’t, of course, but… if Chrysus, some minor God, was able to both open Tartarus and throw the three most powerful Olympian (and one Chthonic if we’re being pedantic) Gods into the pits of Tartarus… couldn’t Nyx… I don’t know, get them out? Hell—she didn’t seem to have any trouble throwing us in here!
I guess Tartarus must be a one-way passage. Things go in and can’t come back out. Which doesn’t look great for us. Except, No. 26 and I have been talking, and we’re pretty certain the Otherworld in of itself is… well, flimsy. Like No. 71 said, it’s a storybook, a sitcom, it’s… predetermined to an extent. Things happen because it’s good for the story. We had no trouble reaching the Underworld (besides getting split up), but then, once we had the Helm—we couldn’t leave. The story wasn’t over yet. This does beg the question… who wrote this story? Probably the same person who created the Otherworld.
So, while the three main Gods, Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades, are trapped here by the “logic” of the Otherworld… I don’t think we are. I mean, maybe this is how our “story” is meant to end. But… one of us, No. 7, has a hidden ace up her sleeve. Well, literally, it is a sleeve. Her tattoo. The strange clover symbol that she showed up with—it seems to be able to bend the Otherworld to her will. So… If I’m right… she should be able to get us out of Tartarus. She just has to… “will it.” Easier said than done, I’m sure.
