Our collective punishment has finally come to an end, and at last, we can cease our Descent and work toward a path to ascend. No. 7’s magic is not quite honed, so our return may be a bit postponed. While the Otherworld may seem odd, like the Otherside, to return, we must find a spot where it is flawed. A tear between the here and there, I would hope a rift to the Flipside isn’t terribly rare.

S.O.T

No. 71: So… Orphy, when will we reach Asphodel?

Mr. Rattazzi: Soon, if my memory of the Descent is correct.

No. 62: And there are no more memory-distorting traps, right?

Mr. Rattazzi: Memory-distorting? No. Traps, oh yes, many.

No. 26: Great. Great. Great.

Mr. Rattazzi: Just keep looking forward—don’t look back.

No. 71: Wait, hang on, aren’t we looking back now?

Mr. Rattazzi: In what way?

No. 71: Well, we were going down the Descent, so we were looking thataway… but now we’re going the other way, and so we’re now looking where we weren’t supposed to be—

Mr. Rattazzi: I… don’t think it is meant to be a specific direction. In fact, I don’t know if it is even a physical action. I’ve had many years to ruminate on the Descent and its meaning. I believe it is more philosophical. Don’t look back… focus on the future. Not what was. Not what has happened.

No. 26: I feel like it’s just a literal what way are you walking situation.

No. 62: Wanna test it out?

No. 1313: No. Absolutely not. Just keep looking ahead—

No. 3: Wait… Char—

No. 7: HEY!! You guys!! Over here!

No. 3: [No. 7]? [No. 7]!

Mr. Rattazzi: Ah—we’ve arrived in Asphodel. Friends of yours?

No. 71: Eh, “friends” is a touchy word. Allies, certainly.

No. 26: Jesus, [No. 161] what happened to you?

No. 161: Bird lady got at me jugular.

[No. 161 removed her bandages for a quick moment to demonstrate.]

No. 161: BLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOD!

No. 62: GROSS! What the heck—

No. 161: Don’t worry! I can’t die! We’re already “dead!”

No. 3: [No. 7] I missed you! We, uh, we missed you!

No. 611: Where did you guys end up?

No. 1313: In our own form of hell, trapped in a rather repetitive spell. But…

[No. 1313 looked over toward No. 3 and No. 7]

No. 1313: I feel like a lesson was learned, and perhaps now someone’s head’ll stay turned.

No. 116: Well, now that our little posse is back together, how about gettin’ us outta here [No. 7]?

No. 3: We still need to find the—

No. 116: Shoot, y’all can’t see it, huh?

[No. 116 threw the Helm of Hades toward No. 3]

No. 3: No way… how’d you?

[No. 161 lowered her bandage again.]

No. 161: BLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOD! MWHAHAHA!
