Phew. Okay. I think we might have enough time to write up a receipt. To recap, we ended up in the Fury’s Den, where Alecto, utilizing Hades’ Helm of Darkness, was able to take indiscriminate swipes and swings at us. We didn’t sustain any serious injuries as we think she was playing with us? Not like “fun” playing… tormenting is probably the right word. She was tormenting us. No. 53 was right in that we needed to leave that area as soon as possible as we don’t know if the other group is staying put or looking for us, and there’s little sense in hanging out in Alecto’s domain. So we made a break for it. That kicked Alecto’s anger up a notch, and I think she was actually trying to cause us harm. No. 161 got the worst of it, as Alecto actually got her in the jugular.

Lotta blood.

But, interestingly enough, no outright death. We think that being in the Underworld is enough to exclude us from outright dying. Which is probably why Alecto was more content to just torment us than outright kill us. Before we return to the Flipside, we should probably make sure No. 161 will be alright—but she seems to still be in good spirits.

Speaking of spirits, I think we’ve ended up in the misty fields of Asphodel. It’s not terrible, but not great, either. Somewhere in the middle. Must be Asphodel. It won’t be long before Alecto catches up with us, though we wouldn’t be able to tell either way, of course. I think if we’re going to do anything, we’re going to have to do it here. Could be worse… at least we can see in Asphodel… somewhat. The mist here is extremely thick when it rolls in. Actually—the mist here might be thick enough even Alecto couldn’t see through it. Maybe we could use her own strength to our advantage…
