Alright! Time to figure out where the End is, what the End is, how to get there, where the other Antekeys are, and what exactly the Otherworld is… eh… or, hear me out, instead of more boring hands-off research, I actually get my hands dirty a bit? Julia and the rest of the Third (and best) Cafe are planning to actually go to the Otherworld. How the heck could I pass up the chance to GO to the Otherworld? HUH?! I know, I know, Nick wants me to do some energy displacement measurements and blah, blah, blah. Let’s be honest with ourselves for just a tiny sec: the Cafe and Diner luck into like 90% of our successes, right?
There’s a reason we aren’t the same as the Astorian Stiffs. They’re the ones who should be doing energy displacement measurements and general intel gathering. We’re the ones who should be diving headfirst into an entirely new plane of existence and in the process I’m CERTAIN we will figure out how this construct is made. Plus, and I hate to say it… but… isn’t like most of what we do dictated by Fate anyway? If we’re meant to understand the Otherworld, I’m sure we will—and not dipping our toes in won’t speed that process up.
And for what’s it’s worth there are probably only like two people who actually know what’s going on right now and that’s zippity-zero and dubious-deux. If Julia and I are EVER gonna make any serious progress on these Espresso Affairs, I think we kinda need to ask No. 0 and No. 2 to see what they know. Of course, No. 0 and No. 2 are also extremely tight-lipped—but why about the Otherworld? Aren’t we supposed to be working together on all of this…? Hmmm… I guess there’s no harm in asking. Of course, we’re gonna have to wait until No. 0 is free and No. 2 is actually around. So! In the meantime, we might as well see what this Otherworld is all about anyway.
