Summary of Receipt
Employee 62 runs the notebook through an Otherside Scanner, and it shows that 11 demons had touched the book - and no sign of Satan. Strangely the readings were incredibly fresh, as if they were still touching the book. One of the 11 is Miss. Ojai, but the others are still unknown. He suggests finding one of them and striking a deal to get more info about the book, and plugs their signatures into the Ice Machine to detect them if possible.

Heyo, itsa me 62. I know I’m not one to usually write receipts, but I’ve been studying Satan’s black notebook, and I’ve discovered something… strange. I decided to run the notebook for any known blood signatures to see if anyone we know has recently been in contact with the notebook. I was also somewhat curious if Satan’s blood signature would show up even though he hasn’t touched the book in roughly 20 years. I didn’t find Satan’s blood signature… but I did find 11 other blood signatures. Not only that, but these were also strong readings. Fresh readings. Almost impossibly fresh, as if the 11 signatures were here touching the book as I took the reading.
I’ve entered the blood signatures into the CaDCom system, and only one of the signatures matches a customer we know… Miss. Ojai. So, now we know that Ojai is somehow tied to this notebook and possibly 11 other customers. Now, and this is purely speculation, what if Ojai can open the notebook? It would make some sense, right? If the Char Man’s blood signature is literally tied to the notebook, perhaps he can open it. He and the other 11 Hauntaurskaldian-adjacent demons attached the book. Though I doubt the Char Man is looking to work with us, especially if he was just trying to kill one of us in cold blood. Or would it be hot blood? Eh, you get what I’m trying to say.
Still, there are 10 other signatures besides his. If my theory is correct, I’m sure one of those 10 would be willing to strike a deal with us. Demons love deals, right? Of course, we need to find those other 10 demons. Well, for the time being, I’ve plugged the 10 new signatures into the Ice Machine, so if any of those demons get within a few hundred feet of the church, it’ll let us know. I’ve also added a flag in the CaDCom systems to alert anyone who picks up any of their signatures.
