…Sorry.

There’s no point in hiding it anymore, huh? Yeah, I played Redman’s stupid game. I thought I could outsmart him or whatever. Well, not even that. I figured he’d pull some stupid trick question, and that’s when I was going to kill him. I didn’t realize how fast he could take control. And I… I didn’t realize how much control he would have over me. He… he summoned me? He… can summon me whenever? Not only that, but he can also move me around by pulling on my bloodshot eye telepathically. I don’t know if he can fully possess me or… what… but… ugh. Sorry. I was stupid.

So, if it wasn’t obvious by now, I decided to play his game on my birthday. Our birthday. Sorry, #44. And sorry, Red. I know we had plans… I just… I don’t even know. It’s like I couldn’t stop myself. I just, I just wanted it so damn bad, I would’ve done anything to put an end to that stupid smug burgundy Boogieman. And what’s even worse? He offered me an out. He told me I didn’t have to play his game. But I insisted. I made him play me, and… well, I got played.

I didn’t even have a chance. He asked me something stupid, like what Indrid Cold’s name is—or like, his “true” name or whatever. I thought I had a good idea based on what #17 and #44 have told me about Indrid Cold, but I guess I still got it wrong. Well, besides throwing me around, which really, really hurt, he hasn’t killed me yet. I guess… technically, he could at any time, right? This stupid red eye means he can kill me whenever, like he did with Sofia and like he did with Xavier. I guess it’s just a matter of when.
