Subject: Business as Usual

For what it’s worth, I think that you should all get the hell out of this business while you still can. We’re dangerously close to nightfall, and if you have another cup of coffee this late, you’re bound to stay awake through the night. I’m sure some of you want that. I know when I was younger, that’s all I wanted. But now? Now, I’d give anything to get some rest. Unfortunately, I’ve got my own debts to pay off and service to the Astorians to see through.

And on that note, Astrid has a lot for Division Ampersand to sort through. We’ve got The Sacred Hall of Bingo, the Obscure Obelus Order, Secret and the seceded Zulu Cult, Willow DeWeaver, the Debt, the Bird—and a laundry list of things I’m **not** allowed to talk about. It’s a tall order, and regardless of who does or doesn’t want to tag along for all of it, we’ve got to settle these tabs. Like I said, I’d recommend leaving this all to Ampersand to worry about, but I know most of you are foolish or, perhaps, mad enough to want to help.

At the very least, our goals are somewhat aligned. The connecting thread between all of our many threats right now is Joy. The Folistes and Ex-CaD employees want to “save” everyone they can, Joy included. The Bingo Players have stolen Joy to use as a catalyst, which would force the Bird and the Debt’s hands. Furthermore, Joy might just be the only one with the proper blueprints for Willow DeWeaver’s lost and/or broken home. And through some more obscure connections, I can promise you that the Zulus and Daggers have a vested interest in Joy as well.

So: Let’s save Joy. For real this time.
