I hate to break it to you, Shill. Old Yellow Top is just a typical sasquatch with some blonde hair. From what I’ve been able to find on this lil’ big buddy, he’s more or less the same as Big Foots, Sasquatches, Yetis, Mogollons, Sandmen, Grassmen, etc. It’s a big, hairy Esterskaldian cryptid. The only difference I could find is, well, they have blonde hair up top. Out of the general hairy-humanoid pool, it seems like Yellow Tops are closest to Sasquatches or maybe Grassmen. There have been a few accounts that Yellow Tops might also have a psychosymbiotic link to nature, similar to Grassmen… but I don’t know.

If this Yellow Top is so agitated, wouldn’t we see that reflected in the local flora of Joshua Tree? Maybe the Yellow Top’s psychosymbiotic link only applies to plants in the Pacific Northwest? Oh! Maybe that’s why he’s so agitated? You know, like the desert vibes are throwing him off? Eh. I might just be grasping at straws. At least, assuming he is closely related to generic Sasquatches, we know that he should have general healing, camouflage, and dimensional disturbance powers. Although I have a feeling his camouflage isn’t meant for this geographic region, seeing as we’ve had so many tourists encounter him already.

Well, barring an unknown and dangerous power, I’d at least say it’s safe to serve him and send him home. If I had to guess, Yellow Tops are just Sasquatches with a slight genetic variation that causes their tops to be… well… yellow. Still, it’s strange that a Sasquatch-type cryptid ended up all the way down here. It must’ve been a pretty big shift in the boundary lines. Could it have been from Miss. Andrews’ visit? It might be a good idea to have #35 or the Owner go take a look at things using their second sight. But that can wait. First, let’s get this big buddy home!
