I’ve been doing some further research on Dr. Crow’s Temporal Torus. While I concur with #62’s reasoning regarding the status of the house on Dracula Drive, I’ve been wondering… what if there was another solution? One that is perhaps more obvious than we’ve considered thus far. Madeline Saturn was… “digitized” and placed inside of the power cell to the Torus in November of 1994. Dr. Crow died in September of 1995. That creates a gap of 9 or 10 months, right? 9 or 10 months where the Torus, and consequentially the power cell containing Madeline Saturn’s soul, could have been removed from the house on Dracula Drive before it was lost with Dr. Crow.

If that is the case, I think it should be possible to create a sort of tracker for the Temporal Torus. Perhaps “tracker” isn’t quite the right word. A sort of… alarm system for the Torus. If what everyone says is true about Madeline’s gravitational powers and her essentially collapsing in on herself to create a quasi-black hole… there should be a way to keep an eye out for a power signature that would match that level of gravitational force. Perhaps not with Flipside technology, of course, but if #62 could provide me with the correct Othertech parts, it should be possible to create something to that effect.

This does hinge on both the Temporal Torus not actually being in the house and, furthermore, being utilized in a way that would cause this alarm system to go off. As for the first concern, if they are going to resurrect Madeline, they NEED the Torus, so we can assume they have a way to get it and will eventually get it if they haven’t already. As for the second concern, I’m hoping that whatever ritual they’re planning on doing will activate the power cell in some manner. I don’t think it’s possible to resurrect Madeline without releasing at least a little of her gravitational energy.
