Tab Paid for HTH care of #26 and #17
We were able to successfully take care of Mr. Tyron’s tab well before Mrs. Middletown had a chance to poach our business. Additionally, Mrs. Tyron had an unexpected customer tag along, Miss. Keightley. Despite her single status, Miss. Keightley didn’t seem to want to cause any undue trouble… this time. Miss. Keightley offered us some well-appreciated support and advice in regard to the Open Doors Church’s ongoing plans before returning with Mrs. Tyron to Ottawa via their 5 o’clock flight.
Mr. Trigano is also bidding us farewell for now as he will catch a 1 o’clock flight back to his home up north. And I suppose it’s about time I headed back to the Cafe myself. It sure has been a while since I’ve been back at my second home. I’m excited to see everyone again and to take a bit of a breather from all this running around trying to intercept Mrs. Middletown’s unwanted gastronomy. I don’t think she gets the point of Diner food… it’s not supposed to be fancy; it’s supposed to be consistent and fast.
However, it’s becoming increasingly clear that we will likely have to deal with Mrs. Middletown eventually. While I’m not exactly sure which side we should take if Miss. Keightley is correct, Mrs. Middletown is planning on taking Mrs. Pleasant down. Seeing as Mrs. Pleasant is currently in Long Beach working for the Open Doors Church… it isn’t a stretch to say that Mrs. Middletown will soon be in Long Beach as well. A conflict between the two will undoubtedly be a very messy affair, and I fear we won’t be able to entirely stay out of it… nor should we. If we play our cards right, we might put a stop to not only Middletown but one-third of Padre’s Dark Triad as well.
