Summary of Receipt

Well, it’s bad. Not Pleasant’s doing, though. Miss. Andrews is a massive ‘death worm’ tunnelling upwards into Los Angeles until it resurfaces - and when that happens, Astoria 23 is probably going to panic and nuke the city. They have less than a week to stop her. 26 spends time time theorising on what it is: it’s likely not from the Esterskald, given that it’s at least ten times larger than its biggest known cryptid, ‘Miss. Job’ (the Behemoth? or Leviathan, just not the Prince?). Mayda’s also out as well - it would need too much water to survive under LA. The Necropolis, Infernus, Hauntaurskald and Ouroboros are all also very unlikely. However, there is one other possibility. What if it’s less of a worm - and more of a snake? Or perhaps an Ouroborian?

Bad news. Very bad news.

Well, you know, it's not all bad news. On the bright side, me and #53 were able to I.D. this mysterious customer. But that's where the bad news comes in. It's Miss. Andrews. I guess #62 wasn't too far off with Shai-Hulud after all. Miss. Andrews is… well, I don't exactly know what she is. I thought she was more of an urban legend or something, especially because there's nothing this big in the Esterskald. Maybe in Mayda, sure, but this customer is HUGE, and it's tearing up L.A.

#62's earlier theory seems to be correct. This customer seems to be slowly making its way to the surface in a corkscrew motion. I assume once it surfaces, well, that'll be where the "Miss." in her name fully kicks in. Not good. Especially if A23 is involved too. Knowing them, the second Miss. Andrews breaches, they'll nuke the city to deal with her. Their "kill first, ask questions later" policy really gets misanthropic once their target is the same size as Orange County. Obviously, we can't let that happen… so we need to figure out a way to send Miss. Andrews home and fast. #62 estimates we have less than a week until she starts surfacing.

Though… there's a pretty big problem, and I don't mean Miss. Andrews herself. We don't know where she's from. Like I said, I don't think she's an Esterskaldian cryptid. Last I checked, the biggest cryptid from there was Miss. Job and Miss. Andrews is roughly 10 of those. Mayda's also out, too, as there wouldn't be enough water for her under L.A. to survive this long. I don't think she's from Amaymon, though there are a lot of unknown areas in that plane. Hauntaurskald… maybe. With Padre and his church operating in L.A., it wouldn't surprise me, but I don't see why Padre would bring such scrutiny from the 23rd. Infernus could also possibly be Miss. Andrews' home, either as one of Maeve's prizes or as a cavern-dwelling cryptid. Morningstar seems very unlikely, considering how much time in the dark she's spent so far…

Or…

What if it's not a death worm… but a death wyrm? Oh. Oh no.
