Of course, it had to be the bloody Obscure Obelus Order. Do you think the CaDCom will let me swear like our little orange companion? Hm? Because I have some choice words I could share about them. Of all the supernatural organizations in the Universe, none are more annoying than the OOO*. I have had the displeasure of dealing with the OOO on a few occasions. Our paths were bound to cross, as we are the two most prominent time-travel-specific organizations in this Cycle. Well, no, not quite. The Society of Nom de Plume is the foremost expert on time travel in this Cycle—however, the OOO operates in every Cycle.

Can you imagine how tiresome that must be? Trying to police not only this Cycle but every Cycle? And to have the gall to attempt to police Spheres that have long since burnt out as well? Fools. That’s what the “Daggers” are. Pompous, arrogant, self-serving idiots who love nothing more than tempting the ire of the Otherman**. Of course, they wanted me; they wanted my powers, but I turned them down. I had seen enough of the damage they could cause in my original Cycle. Ever since then, we’ve traded barbs a few times, but we’ve never truly had a physical conflict***.

If Warden has joined, I am afraid there won’t be much we can do. At our best****, we might’ve had a slim chance at taking on the Daggers. Not a good chance, mind you. But between Belphegor, Shaka, and Jean-Marc… maybe. But as our scattered and all too human selves? Not a chance. In fact, we should probably drop it here.

*Discounting the Goggins, naturally. Oh, and perhaps Complexico.

**Not that the Society is exactly allied to the Otherman either, for what it’s worth. We do a good enough job keeping things spinning on our own, thank you very much.

***I am well aware that an organization that spans every Cycle could likely dismantle the Society with a snap of their fingers. Like the Angel said, it’s best not to kick the hornet’s nest.

****When we were killing Cold Elders.
