Well, that’s that. A family meeting has been called, so a family meeting we’ll have. My dad and I will have a get-together over Corpse Revivers next weekend, along with my sister and, I suppose, any other Langley who wants to tag along. Considering the subject matter, I wouldn’t be too surprised if Solomon poked his head in. And considering where the meeting will be held, perhaps Lazarus, Jethro, Parthenia, and/or Damaris might show up too. And my dad wanted to stress that Travis is also more than welcome to attend if he wants to, but there’s no obligation.

I knew about my mom’s involvement with the Folistes, but I didn’t realize why she joined. In hindsight, I guess I do find it a bit strange that she’d jump at the chance to work with Alex and Amber, no offense. I rationalized it at the time as her wanting to keep Alex out of trouble and maybe a promise to the old Shaka that she’d keep an eye on his replacements. I only found out recently that her involvement wasn’t quite voluntary and that she was only there due to a debt owed to Secret.

Additionally, this family meeting will give us a chance to touch base with Nikki, Seth, and Julius. While they may be buried six feet under with their work, we can at least get their thoughts on going after Bingo and rescuing Joy, Julia, and Warden. I’m sure Julius has some thoughts on… well, everything, but mainly the Joy situation. We might also be able to convince my sister to lend us Seth’s services, as he might be able to help us tip the scales against the Bingo Cult. I figure she would have some vested interest in not letting Jean-Marc go through with his whole doomsday plan.
